Driving Directions
From Wellington International Airport and Wellington City
Follow the signs to “Motorway North” (Wellington Urban Motorway, State Highway 1) and travel north out of the CBD. Go straight through the Ngaranga Gorge interchange and continue on the Hutt Road and along the shores of Wellington Harbour to Petone.
This dual carriageway (Western Hutt Road, State Highway 2) runs all the way to Upper Hutt and beyond. Take the right hand lane, and continue along the Hutt Motorway through one set of traffic lights and then travel on for about 2-3 minutes to Melling Railway Station. There is double set of lights here (see map) and a bridge to the right that goes over the river to the Hutt City.
Go past these first traffic lights and turn right at the second set of lights (25 meters past the bridge) into Block Road. Continue on Block Road to Pharazyn Street - Motel 22 is the first Motel on the left.
